Under the title "Optimising the Impact of NRENs on Africa's Research", and from 30 October 2016 to 4 November 2016, the city of Kampala (Uganda) will recieve the members of the UbuntuNet Alliance for its annual conference, which will be hosted by the Research and Education Network for Uganda (RENU). As in the previous conference, held in 2015 in Maputo (Mozambique), MAGIC will be part of the plenary sessions programme.
MAGIC aims to foster the deployment of the platforms that enable mobility of people and seamless access to services by promoting the establishment of identity federations interconnected via eduGAIN.
