  • 10 months doing MAGIC

    MAGICUnder the title of Middleware for collaborative Applications and Global vIrtual Communities, the MAGIC project started its two year race in May 1st, 2015, and with the participation of 19 NRENs and RENs from all over the world, and the powerfull commitment of their representatives, translated into many hours of work, after 10 months the project results certainly demonstrate that the only way of growing together is by collaborating.

    eHealth Grand RoundsThe Global Science Communities team of the MAGIC project intends to host virtual "Grand Rounds" in the month of September 2016, and is therefore requesting persons/organisations from across the globe to indicate their interest in presenting. Teams are encouraged to collaborate.

  • eHealth Grand Rounds From Across the World – A MAGIC-al Event

    eHealth Grand RoundsHealth practitioners and others with health-related interests from across the globe are invited to participate in a unique opportunity this September. They can join their colleagues in a series of eHealth webinars, entitled “Grand Rounds”, coordinated by a consortium of international research and education networks. The six eHealth Grand Rounds sessions fall under the broad headings of eHealth, Child and Adolescent Health and Cardiology, and are being coordinated by the MAGIC project, and the champion, Dr Luiz Messina from the Brazilian University Telemedicine Network project (RUTE).

  • MAGIC will participate at UbuntuNet Connect

    kampalaUnder the title "Optimising the Impact of NRENs on Africa's Research", and from 30 October 2016 to 4 November 2016, the city of Kampala (Uganda) will recieve the members of the UbuntuNet Alliance for its annual conference, which will be hosted by the Research and Education Network for Uganda (RENU). As in the previous conference, held in 2015 in Maputo (Mozambique), MAGIC will be part of the plenary sessions programme.
